Photoshoot fun.

Me, Maddy and Jaz did a little shoot on the 17th - first of 2009 and it was a success along with many, many laughs. The shoot pictures can be found in my photography blog but here I'll post some of the fun ones we did. Got some of my favourite photos ever here. Check it out.

I'm very sure there have been more - Nicole Kidman, Baz Luhrmann etc

Monday 9 February 2009

Presents from Monday.

Today....today.
Well first off the weather was a true mimic of my health - crapola. Went into school with a banging headache, completely unaided by my recent ibuprofen purchase :'(.

But the day wasn't wasted I guess. This morning I stumbled upon some more music I liked. Check it out! This stuff, as my friends know, is right up my street :)
I really thought that the other video they did was cooler but the stupid company didn't want people to embed the video into posts so if you're interested in watching something a bit crazy click here :)

Anyway, not much else happened today apart from a rather amusing assembly about internet safety. We watched a lame video about a man who 'groomed' a girl who and, in all her wit, said she had a boyfriend in year ten at the end. It was stupid and they obviously didn't realise they could send dirty pictures over MSN as opposed to leaving a memory stick under a bush. But hey, who's crying? Not me. Anyway it made me wonder if keeping a blog of my day-to-day life would lead to some stalker eventually finding out everything about me.
The prospect was less than worrying. One more assembly wasted.
Who puts their address, phone number, post code and email on the internet anyway?

When I got home I felt like watching one of the Scary movies so I looked some videos up of my favourite character, Brenda. She managed to die in each movie but of all these deaths I definitely think Scary Movie 3 was the funniest. Check it out.

So after some laughs I decided to carry on chatting and eating 'Malteasers' whilst listening to Madonna's 'vogue'. All I can say is, Betty Davis, we do love you.

:)

Errands in Romsey

It's never fun waking up at 10 am on a Sunday, but my fish needed more food. Sometimes I wonder if my hunger feels the same as his. But it's ok because I went out and brought a Subway and some Roast Chicken crisps.

After reading my friends little notes about strange things she feels and thinks, I really got a sense of her honesty and it made me feel kind of refreshed. I needed to go out today so I did and to others it might have been quite indifferent but to me, it's been just one more life-enriching day in the life.

For the first time in forever, the bus stop was quite peaceful. The birds were so loud that they even stopped me hearing the dreaded ear ringing. Even though the bus was five minutes late, I felt somewhat happy that the 'blue star bus service' gave me a little chance to admire the place I lived.

I didn't have the odd 10p, so the woman had to go to the great length of opening the change bag.

The weather was less than beautiful.

On the bus I listened to Lady Gaga, Kate Bush and Leona Lewis. It was a good mix and it made me think about why such a contrasting music playlist could make me smile so much. Maybe it's the realisation that I actually like most music despite the apparent lack of meaning to lyrics in today's society.

This weekend has been an interesting one in terms of music. I've had MTV Base and MTV Dance on my T.V for the passed two days. I can honestly say I'm sick of that Lil Wayne song where the man groans 'when I arrive' owing to the fact it was played over four times. On Saturday, me parents went out for someone's birthday so I had the house to myself - time for the violin to come out. I improvised over SĂ©bastien Tellier's masterpiece, La Ritournelle. I don't think I did too badly but it let me come surprisingly closer to the music as opposed to how far the average person can come by shoving a couple of earphones in and hearing it.

In Romsey I needed to get a display book for my Geography project which was about the beautiful Kenya and how people seem to think that tourism is destroying it. Beauty can't be destroyed - contradictory to people saying it's only skin deep. I mean, how stupid?
More to the point, WHS was closed. I felt like an idiot peering in to look for someone but shit happens. :).

I sat in Subway with a 'Subway Melt'. I didn't think much there. A good looking guy walked in, but that was the only thing worth noting.

I hadn't had an Earl Grey tea in about a week and with ten minutes to spare, I got one and a caramel slice from Café Nero. It was the best tea I'd had all year until the miserable bus driver told me to throw it away - the amount of things I felt like calling him was becoming hysterically long list but I decided to save it for a list of 25 things that got on my nerves. The idea slowly evolved into starting a blog :).

He needed to get a grip.

This didn't stay on my mind for long. Have you ever realised that sociology dictates that the people who don't try hard at studying usually end up in crime or related? I asked myself this question after I was, again, shocked by the scum being brought up in North Baddesly - I don't know how this 7 year old child had the audacity to throw a large object at the bus window causing it to totally crack. The poor lady next to the window could have been in all sorts of trouble.

When I got home I looked at the stuff I brought :"). The idea of being allowed to buy my own packet of 200 mg Ibuprofen really did make me feel grown up.

I really feel like playing SimCity 4 now.

Cool, bye :)

Brand Spanking New

So Jason hits Blogger.

And what better way to start off than introduce myself?

Well as you've guessed already I'm Jason. I'm probably quite average looking on the outside really.

I drink earl grey tea and I don't believe in God.
Contrary to what many of the people who know me think, I have extremely strong beliefes, but that's for another time and blog - there's plenty more space here :).

So why did I decide to start this blog?

Well today one of my best friend Kizzy wrote a little note on Facebook with some meaningful stuff in there. I felt quite honoured to be one of the few people tagged in that post. Anyway, she brought up some thoughts that I hadn't thought about for a long time :).
I also noticed that I have a lot of stuff on my mind during the days, weeks and months that shouldn't go to waste! I quite like the idea of looking back on this blog to see how I've progressed - mentally and emotionally I guess :).
Here you're going to find my personal banter, pictures and various social events (however messy). Not only that, but also things that got to me in the day - positive and negative.

So keep looking :) A day in the life of Jason is but a link away!

I think yes.
